Jack Monkhouse has just finished building his Nissan S15 200SX specially built for the recently introduced 2WD Category as a part of the 2012 Bosch ARC Rally Championship. The S15 has had extensive work done on it in a short space of time with the build taking only 3 months. The car began life as a Street Car in Japan before being bought into Australia where Jack has then pulled it apart to set it up for the purpose of Dirt Rally.

The car has been stripped extensively with only the bare essentials inside including VELO Race seats, Weld-in CAMS Approved Roll-Cage, Hydraulic Handbrake. The underside was sand blasted & painted along with the rest of the car, the engine (SR20DET) as per the ARC rules remains internally standard but has the necessery parts required for the category to make close to 280RWHP. The S15 has also had a GTR Brake upgrade along with a set of the popular Braid Wheels.

Xtreme Brake have supplied the S15 with a set of Xtreme Slotted Brake Rotors which are an upgraded Rotor to suit the Factory GTR Brakes along with a set of Xtreme Race Pads, The RC6 Pad supplied comes up to temperature quite quickly which is better suited for Rally Use with some stages only lasting for a matter of minutes.

The S15 will see quite a bit of testing & development throughout the year & with a 2nd place after Round One with a relatively untested car the year is shaping up to be quite successful.
